About Us
Endure Beyond was founded by brothers Alex and Oliver Jones, in honor of their late grandmother, Carol Goldstein. Carol passed away in 2020 after enduring eight courageous remissions of ovarian cancer. She was a shining light to all who knew her, and her resilience and endurance in the face of pain and uncertainty continues to inspire our mission. Endure Beyond is a way to carry her legacy forward—to build something that would endure beyond her life.
Alex and Oliver began participating in endurance events in 2023. Through these races, they quickly recognized the deep sense of community and generosity that exists within the endurance running world. They were drawn to both the challenge of the sport, and the opportunity it presented to give back. Alex and Oliver want to create an environment that brings runners together to fundraise, connect, and run in honor of causes greater than themselves.
Endure Beyond is built on the belief that running can be more than personal—it can be purposeful. By creating race teams that train and raise money together, the founders hope to cultivate a community that channels collective endurance into real-world impact.
Endure Beyond’s flagship partnership is with the American Cancer Society (ACS). Seventy-five percent of all proceeds raised by Endure Beyond runners are donated directly to ACS to support cancer research, patient care, and treatment access. The American Cancer Society is the world’s leading cancer research foundation, with decades of impact in both scientific advancement and patient support services. In addition to research funding, ACS provides lodging near treatment centers, 24/7 support for patients and families, transportation assistance, and nationwide advocacy.
ACS also has a strong presence in endurance events, including marathons, triathlons, and community runs across the country. Endure Beyond is proud to be a part of that network, helping to amplify their mission through grassroots fundraising and participation in high-profile races.
Endure Beyond is an official charity partner of the Boulderthon, one of Colorado’s premier endurance events. In 2025, we are proud to support eight runners who are participating in the marathon and half-marathon to raise funds for cancer research.
Our presence at the 2025 Boulderthon marks the beginning of our broader race calendar. As we grow, Endure Beyond plans to expand its endurance race partnerships across the country in 2026 and beyond. Through each event, we aim to bring together runners who are motivated not only by performance, but by purpose—united by a shared commitment to honoring loved ones and advancing cancer research.
